Inventory management is one of the most tedious aspects of any RE game. Having limited space to work with isn’t a fun thing to do. This often leads to leaving important items that may prove useful in the later stages of the game. Luckily, this can easily be fixed by increasing the inventory space. In this guide, we’ve detailed all there’s to know about how to easily increase inventory space in Resident Evil Village.

Resident Evil Village Increase Inventory Space

Increasing inventory space in RE8 is tied to the merchant called Duke. After completing the initial sequences, head over to Duke to purchase upgrades for inventory. The option should appear under the “Gunsmithy” menu and will cost Lei – it’ll start off with thousands and can even cost tens of thousands for later upgrades. The good thing is that these upgrades are permanent and can make life so much easier.

Lei, on the other hand, isn’t hard to make. It can easily be made by defeating enemies, breaking crates, searching areas, and finding things like artifacts/treasures. While not hard, it’s definitely time-consuming so make sure to save Lei for the most important things.

One small tip that we can give is that all the items in the inventory can be rotated. In order to do it, simply select an item and use the triggers to rotate the item. This is especially useful for things that take a lot of space e.g., shotguns, rifles, etc. Since even the tiniest of space can help a lot in RE8, this is something that can be extremely helpful. Moreover, always try to sell off the items that aren’t useful – it’s another good way to earn some extra Lei on the side.
