The post God of War: Ragnarok Path of Destruction Favor Walkthrough Guide appeared first on RespawnFirst.
]]>After you complete the quest “Return of the River,” follow the giant footprints through a hole in the wall to enter the Jungle of Vanaheim. When you step into the jungle, the “Path of Destruction” will start. When you arrive at the bridge, you’ll see that the ogres are waiting for you. You will need to encounter him in order to cross the bridge.
The first thing you need to do is follow the footprints left behind by the drake. These are easy to spot, as they’re quite large. Just hop down until you reach the middle.
The next thing you need to do is lure the drake out of its hiding spot. To finish this job, you must have the wall up, then hurl the ax at the thing twirling around and then freeze the gear before it starts moving again. You will find Rune Readon on the next wall and a Legendary Chest containing Yggdrasil Jewel.
After you climb the wall, freezing the process again, go outside and use the platform to lure Gallons. As soon as Axe is within reach, release it, so he gets trapped inside. Luring Gulon closer by pulling on the chain will bring it up to where drake lives. Make your way back to the drakes by taking the left path. Once you arrive, Slag Horn will be waiting for you.
All three, the Slag Horn, Gravel Belly, and Crag Jaw, will all play similarly. The main difference between Slag Horn and the other two drakes is that he has more health. Follow are the attacks used by Slag Horn.”
All of Slag Horn’s attacks deal a large amount of damage, but they also take time to charge up. Therefore you can easily dodge all attacks. The most dangerous attack is the slam; be sure to jump to the side and avoid taking serious damage.
As Slag Horn’s health is depleted to half, the attack will be double, so you need to be much more careful. When you see the drake doing its signature, jump toward the side; otherwise, you will receive a huge amount of damage. Use upgraded Permafrost or Maelstrom against the drake to take him down and finish the “Path of Destruction”.

]]>Since the Frozen Flames are scattered all over the game, it’s hard to get them. However, below I’ve mentioned the exact locations of the Frozen Flame:
Frozen Flame #1
The “The Huntress” is the mini-bosses in the starting mission Midgard. Once you take her down, she will drop the Frozen Flame.
Frozen Flame #2
The “Groa’s Secret” mission requires you to Alva in the Alfheim realm. Once you take her down, she will drop the Frozen Flame.
Frozen Flame #3
You need to free up Freya from Midgard during the “The Reckoning” quest in the Vanaheim realm. Pick the Amulet of the Freya, and inside it, you will find the Frozen Flame.
Frozen Flame #4
The first Hel-Traveller you encounter during the Reunion mission is a tough enemy with a giant sword. Once you take him down, he will drop the Frozen Flame.
Frozen Flame #5
You will go to Muspelheim during the main mission, “The Summoning,” and encounter the Flame Phantom. Once you take him down, he will drop the Frozen Flame.
Frozen Flame #6
During the last third of the main story, you will return to Vanaheim after Birgir’s sacrifice. The “Scent of Survival” favor will begin as soon as you arrive. The next side quest, “For Vanaheim, “will become available upon completing this favor. During this quest, you will encounter “The Crimson Dread.” Defeat it to obtain a Frozen Flame.

]]>The post How to Get Steinbjorn Armor Set in God of War: Ragnarok appeared first on RespawnFirst.
]]>There are some perquisites that you need to fulfill before unlocking the Steinbjorn Armor Set:
After you finish the Draupnir Spear, Main Mission 10’s story will unlock. Take the Spear and go to Midgard’s “Lake of Nine.” You’ll notice a glowing yellow ice block on the lake’s south side coming your way. Use Spear to explode the frozen block. The Mystical Heirloom is behind the rubble, covered in snow. Equip the Mystical Heirloom from your set of weapons next. Together hold down “L1” and push “O” so that you can activate Troll Statues.
After you find a troll statue and use the Mystical Heirloom on it, four bosses will appear. They each drop a Slumber Stone, which is necessary for crafting the armor set. Below I’ve mentioned the locations of all Troll Statues:
Troll Statue #1
You will find the first Troll Statue in Midgard (The Derelict Outpost).
Troll Statues #2 and #3
The second and third Troll Statues are both situated in Vanaheim (Noatun’s Garden). Since this spot is across a river, you’ll need to use the boat over, and it’s only accessible during daylight hours.
Troll Statue #4
To find the fourth and final Troll Statue, you must head to Alfheim (The Forbidden Sands).
After you beat the Trolls’ bosses, you’ll receive four Slumber Stones as a reward. Take them to the blacksmith so they can forge the Steinbjorn Armor Set for you. And don’t forget to grab the blue chest while you’re there!
This is how you can get the Steinbjorn Armor Set in God of War: Ragnarok. For more tips and strategies, be sure to check out our detailed God of War: Ragnarok wiki page.

]]>The post Does God of War: Ragnarok Offer a New Game Plus Mode? appeared first on RespawnFirst.
]]>The Ragnarok has the longest 20 hours plus story mode in the series and is filled with new things to discover. Even if you’re a veteran who’s played for hours, you might still be confused about whether your progress will transfer into a New Game Plus that you can use in your next quest via trials of Fimbulwinter. In this guide, all your doubts and confusion about the New Game Plus in God of War: Ragnarok will dissipate.
As of right now, God of War: Ragnarok does not offer a New Game Plus mode. You cannot transfer any of your progress, items, armor, etc., from one playthrough to another. Therefore, if you want to play the game again, you have to start from scratch with a new save file. This is a bummer for those who want to try out different gameplay styles or build their characters differently in their second playthroughs. However, it’s still early days, and we might see a New Game Plus mode come out in future updates or DLCs.
Are you looking forward to having a NG+ mode in God of War: Ragnarok. Be sure to let us know in the comments down below!

]]>The Mystical Heirloom is a special Relic that, when equipped and activated, gives you access to the four Trolls Statues. These statues come back to life and must be defeated in order to unlock the Steinbjorn Armor Set.
The Mystical Heirloom is only available after you finish the main story mission, “Forging Destiny.” You’ll need a Spear to find Relics during your journey, and finishing this mission is the only way to get one. Go to Midgard and find Tyr’s temple. Once you’re there, go to the south side of the building. Use your spear on the wall that looks like it would be easy to destroy. Behind that wall, you’ll find the Mystical Heirloom.
This is all we have got in how to unlock the Mystical Heirloom in God of War: Ragnarok. For more tips and strategies, you can check out our detailed God of War: Ragnarok wiki page.
